YouTube is a Favorite: Black and Asian viewers love YouTube more than any other platform. Black viewers spend 45% of their time on YouTube, and Asian viewers spend 48%. They trust YouTube more than other platforms.
Almost Everyone Uses Social Media: About 95% of all people use at least one social media app. This number is even higher for Hispanic viewers, with 99% using social media.
WhatsApp is Popular with Hispanics: WhatsApp is a big deal for Hispanic audiences. 61% of Hispanic viewers use WhatsApp, compared to 27% of all people surveyed and only 15% of white respondents.
Hobbies Influence Media Choices: What people like to do in their free time affects what media they watch the most. For example, 56% of Hispanic and Asian viewers choose media based on their hobbies, while 51% of Black viewers and 45% of white viewers do the same.
