Here’s What You Will Discover Inside This Course:
Video #1 – Introduction to Book Outsourcing
This first video will give you a quick overview of the video series as a whole. It will cover how to get in the right mindset so you’ll be able to create your book fast and quickly. It will also show you how it all works and what tools you will need.
Video #2 – Create Plot or Structure
While you will be given some ideas on how to create a plot or structure depending which route you choose (fiction or non-fiction), I will assume that you have a good idea of what your story will be about. In this specific video I am going to show you how to layout your story from the plot, the climax, and much more. This way you set yourself up for success and are able to create a book that is easy to read.
Video #3 – Finding Good Writers
There are many different types of books, so therefore there are going to be many different types of writers. I have both non-fiction books and fictional books. So how are you supposed to know how to find a good writer? In this video I am going to show you how to find the right writer that will do a good job in creating a great flowing book that is perfect for your specific audience.
Video #4 – Revise It
Before you find a book proofreader, you want to revise the book yourself to ensure that you like what the writer wrote. Now, there are specific things that you need to look out for to ensure that the book flows before you send it to a proofreader or ask the book writer to rewrite certain parts of the book. In this specific video I am going to show you exactly what you need to do step by step.
Video #5 – Proofread It
After you have revised the book yourself or have had a book writer revise or rewrite certain parts of the book, it’s time to find a good proofreader. Now, this is where most people make the biggest mistakes. There are a lot of wannabe proofreaders out there and I am going to show you the difference between a real proofreader who knows how to make your book really flow well versus someone who is just half-heartedly doing it and not really doing a good job.
You definitely want to get this part right because one of the biggest complaints that book readers have are spelling and grammatical errors.
Video #6 – Bartering Secrets
I am going to show you my very own bartering secrets that have enabled me to create high-quality books for a low cost. Obviously when bartering, you need to make sure that it is a win-win situation. Therefore, I’ll show you exactly what I did and how you can do it as well.
Video #7 – Ecover design
Once you are completed with the book writing and proofreading process, it’s time to design your book cover. In the specific video I will show you different resources and freelancer sites where you will be able to create a professional looking book design. Unfortunately, people do judge a book by its cover, so you’ll want to get this part right. Fortunately for you, you will not have to spend a lot of money, and being that I have experience in this I will show you how to create a very professional cover that normally cost anywhere from $100-$200 for less than $25-$40. You’ll save a lot of money and receive the same great results.
Video #8 – Printing and Distributing (POD companies)
Once you have created your book and design, you’ll need to know how to distribute your book. There are many different avenues that you can take to do this, depending on the format. You can sell them on Amazon Kindle and CreateSpace, in electronic, paperback, or even hardcover versions. However, in order to do certain types of formats you have to go through certain printing companies.
I’ve lost a lot of time and tested Amazon Kindle, CreateSpace paperbacks, and even Lightning Source hardcover books. You’ll see real case studies as I compare these three possible avenues. Does Lightning Source really live up to the high standard you’ll want? Or have hardcover books become obsolete? You will learn all this and more in this specific video.
Video #9 – Formatting for POD Company
After you have seen some real case studies in the previous video and learned which companies can distribute and sell your book, it’s time to format your book for these specific companies.
In this specific video I am going to show you how to properly get someone else to format your books for you so that you can quickly and easily get up and running and begin selling your books. There are many different tools out there, but the reality of it all is that if you try to learn how to format your books yourself, it can take several days or even weeks. And instead of formatting, you could be marketing during those weeks.
Video #10 – Getting a Book Website
While this video course was developed to help you outsource book creation, I want to point you in the right direction and show you how to get a book website created for your book and where you can access these resources for a low cost.
By getting a book website up for your book, this will enable your fans to keep track of everything you do, as well as enable prospects who might be interested in your book to find out more. Not having a website doesn’t necessarily decrease your sales, but it definitely gives you another avenue to market and sell your books.
It doesn’t get any easier than this. Watch it on your PC, Mac or Tablet and in the shortest time possible, slash the learning curve, remove the roadblocks and clear away all the mystery to creating and publishing the most effective fiction and non-fiction online without breaking the bank or losing your mind in the process.

Alun Hill Travels In 2016: 70,000kms / 42,000 miles

2016 was a fascinating year – my wife and I travelled to 14 countries, via 19 airports and 19 airlines and 32 flights.

If it’s of interest, I use and recommend Hilton Hotels for business use (we are “Diamond”, which gives us free wifi / breakfast / suite upgrades), and an app called “App In The Air” which automagically takes care of all our flight times/ gates / check ins  and hotel bookings.

I have no airline preference, merely flying whichever one has the best schedules for me, which tends to mean Emirates!  We live on a very small island and the airport is a drive, a ferry ride and another drive away, and Emirates always supplies us with chauffeurs at both ends of each journey.

We almost always fly business class, as this also gives us more room and lounges to work from.

We flew over 70,000  kms / 45,000 miles, spending 76 nights in hotels.

Apparently, we spent over 100 hours in the air!

Oh, and we did a 4 day train trip, helping raise over $150,000 for charity!

I won’t list the countries, but we did travel extensively in North America, Europe and Northern Africa.

As I write this in early January 2017, we’ve already visited Vienna in Austria and we are currently in Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia.

February will see us with 2 visits to London and about 2 weeks in Morocco – in Marrakesh and Casablanca.

What do we do on these visits?

Well, we visit and talk to (see my talks page) and with other entrepreneurs, we drop in on our business interests globally – and, of course, we sightsee, whenever possible!

Meeting other people is the greatest fun, talking about business opportunities and threats – and reminiscing, occasionally, on the “old, pre-internet, days” …. and how much easier business now is.

The youngest entrepreneur we spent time with in 2016 was 12, the oldest 76 – proving anyone can be an entrepreneur with a bit of training and help.

I do hope that was of interest!

Goats – In Trees?

Yes, they are goats.

And yes, they are in the trees.

And, yes, they are real!

Right that’s all your questions answered!

Oh, you’re still wondering about the goats.

The goats in the trees? Fair enough, I suppose.

I’m just back from a two week trip to Morocco, making a TV documentary (and hopefully a book) about entrepreneurship.

This part of the world probably has more real entrepreneurs per head of population than anywhere else.

Many people have nothing, nothing at all.

But they are creative.

They can make amazing things out of bits of leather, out of scrap metal, out of clay from the ground.

One chap I interviewed has always kept goats.

He sells their milk and their meat.

He noticed that tourists liked to hold the baby goats.

And they invariably tipped him a few dirhams for the pleasure.

But there’s not always a baby goat around.

So he put the goats food in the trees, every morning at 6.30am.

Over several months, each day he moved the food a little higher.

Yes, he actually trained the goats to climb the tress.

Then he persuaded them, with more training, to stay there – he did this, since I know you’re about to ask – by feeding them again, a bit at a time.

A real incentive to stay in the tree.

Now, as the tourists buses pass, everyone wants to stop and take a picture.

Obviously.

And he charges a dirham or two to do so.

And a bit extra if you want to cuddle a baby goat.

Nice chap, although his neighbours think he’s crazy.

But he’s the one with money in the bank and his kids (his children, not baby goats, in case you were about to ask!) in school.

Can you think creatively?

Talking About Niches ….

I want to talk about niches today.

Ahmed, whom I met a few weeks ago in Morocco, runs a niche business.

In Morocco, nothing goes to waste.

Scraps of leather are made into shoes.

Scraps of metal are made into lamps.

Scraps of wood are made into musical instruments.

Cars are very old and parts are replaced over and over again.

Scrap yards for parts are everywhere – and competition is tough.

Ahmed noticed something in the large amount of spare time he used to have in his scrapyard, waiting for business.

He realised that one particular part was more in demand than others.

Car doors.

Everyone needs them.

And you had to run around many scrap yards to find one.

He had an idea.

Why not specialize?

Why not specialise in car doors?

He thought about it for a while.

His wife, incidentally, said he was mad.

He was “zan, zan”, in Moroccan.

He realised that to get lots of car doors would be expensive.

And he’d have loads of slow selling stock.

One Friday, as he was closing, he had a brainwave.

He suddenly realised that driver’s doors were BY FAR the most popular.

There’s several reasons for this, including accidents and extra wear – but they were irrelevant.

He’d found a niche.

He thought about it some more.

He had time to think, remember ….

And he has very little cash.

His wife, meantime, discovered she was pregnant with their 3rd child.

That was the push he needed.

If he sold EVERYTHING in his scrap yard, he’d have some ready cash.

He’d have to sell to the competing scrap men to get quick cash, and he would get low prices, but he would get quick cash.

He’d tell them, rightly, that he was getting out of the business.

He didn’t tell them he’d be going straight back in – selling only doors, though.

Driver’s doors.

He’d had another idea, you see.

He would paint every car door white.

That way, people would see they looked fresh and looked after, newly painted.

And if he was known for that, people wouldn’t ask for green or blue or any of the myriad of other colors you can get cars in.

That way, he’d have a car door for every customer.

He sold his stock of scrap within 3 days – his wife got a shock when she arrived to an empty yard, incidentally!

He then went, with his wife’s brother, to every scrap yard they could.

And quietly bought up every drivers side car door they could.

Within a month, in the Essaouira area of Morocco, he’d completely cornered the huge market in car doors.

Other scrap men would bring him their doors, at knock down prices, because they couldn’t ever sell them.

Everyone automatically went to Ahmed’s.

That was a year ago and he’s done very well since.

And the baby is doing great, too – I met her!

One addition to his business plan has been added.

He now sells yellow doors too.

But only if they’re from Mercedes E280’s.

You can probably guess what colour taxis are in Morocco.

And what car they use!

What can we learn from Ahmed?

Go for a niche.

Study that niche.

Dominate it.

But don’t be scared to think laterally – even if it IS outside of a successful niche!

I’m In Morocco. You Can Learn A Lot About Being An Entrepreneur Here.

I’m in Morocco, North Africa, for a few weeks at the moment.

I write this from Marrakesh, towards the south of the country. It’s a big city, one and a half million live here.

A mixture of Berbers, Arabs and Jews, along with a small collection of almost every other group imaginable. (Hundreds of English ex-pats, for example!).

Most have one thing in common.

They’re self employed. They’re entrepreneurs. They’re hustlers in the polite sense of the word.

I’m In Morocco. It’s MAD. In More Ways Than One…

You see, the currency is MAD.

Yes, you read that right.

Moroccan dirhams have the international code of “MAD”.

I don’t suppose that anyone told them that was perhaps not the wisest choice of name.

Especially in a country where donkeys and horses are more common than Mercedes four by fours.

And where everyone is working so darned hard.
